Your Guide to Falmouth Week 2026
8th – 15th August 2026
Falmouth Week is coming around again and we’ve picked out the highlights that we recommend to all our guests over the busiest week in August! Day to night and shore to sea, there’s something for every taste, with many events free and with no need to book ahead.
Friday 7th August: The Pink Wig Mermaid March
Take to the streets dressed in pink as hundreds flock together to raise funds for The Mermaid Centre, Cornwall’s dedicated breast cancer unit at Royal Cornwall Hospital. There will be a pre-event reception at The Greenbank Hotel before the parade sets off through Falmouth at 7pm. Afterwards there will be a silent disco at the Waterfront Marquee, hosted by DeluxX DJs. Get your tickets/make a donation here!
Saturday 8th August: Falmouth Carnival!
Excitement builds from 11am at The Falmouth Rugby Club, with the procession departing the recreation ground and heading down Killigrew Street and through The Moor, Webber Street, Market Street, Church Street and Arwenack Street, ending at Events Square. Watch or join in, and come back from 6pm for free live music from Falmouth Soul Sensation and Kernoasis.
Full Week Live Music Line-Up
Each evening, we’ll have an act or two performing at the Waterside Marquee in Church Street Car Park, with tickets available online.

Wednesday 12th August: Falmouth Week Air Display
This year we’ll be enjoying the shows above the beach from 6.15pm, at the same time as a 95% partial solar eclipse! Keep your eyes peeled for The Royal Navy Raiders – “experienced parachutists drawn from across the Surface Fleet, Submarine Service, Royal Marines and Fleet Air Arm. Trailing coloured smoke and flags as they free-fall towards the bay, they deliver a display of precision and courage that never fails to inspire.” The AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers –
The world’s only formation wingwalking team, the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers perform atop “biplanes, executing loops, rolls and turns while their wingwalkers perform handstands against 150mph wind pressure” and The Flying Comrades – “a duo of iconic Yakovlev Yak-52 aircraft, the Flying Comrades bring tight formation aerobatics, exhilarating passes and visually distinctive sequences”.
Also on Wednesday 12th August: RNLI Water Polo. The annual RNLI Water Polo Challenge kicks off from 7.30pm – 8.30pm, watch teams from the RNLI and local Surf Life Saving Clubs battle it out on Custom House Quay, serenaded by the Bryher’s Boys shanty group.
Friday 14th August: Falmouth Fireworks Display
The waterside becomes busy and buzzing on Friday night at 10pm! The fireworks are set off from Trefusis Headland, so the show can be enjoyed from vantage points all across Falmouth, including Events Square, Custom House Quay, Prince of Wales Pier, and the Docks Lookout Point. (The back-up day is Saturday 15th August in the event of poor weather on Friday.)
Friday 14th – Sunday 16th August: Market on the Moor
