Victoria Point is an exquisitely presented, gorgeous south-facing, Grade II Listed double fronted mid-terrace Georgian house with elevated landscaped garden with wonderful panoramic views over the Truro River to wooded countryside beyond. Filled with period charm a gorgeous home is just the perfect escape from everyday living with family or friends.

The waterside village of Malpas, is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, shrouded with leafy, low-hanging trees along the River Truro’s edge. There are fantastic walks from the village up the river to the picturesque village of St Clements and then onward to Tresillian. After a long walk you’ll be in need a refreshing drink, so bag a seat with an estuary view at the Heron Inn, just 5 minutes from the cottage along with The Heron Farm Shop and Kitchen is located close by at Malpas Marina. The ferry runs from this spot where you can reach the bustling town of Falmouth or St Mawes on the Roseland.

Detailed Description

On entering Victoria Point, through the front porch, the comfortable lounge is on your left with wall hung smart television and wood burning stove. The opposite side is the large kitchen / dining room with an electric aga, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. At the back of the house is the ground floor shower room, with wash hand basin and toilet, along with the laundry cupboard with a washer dryer inside.

Upstairs is found two double bedrooms with king-size beds both overlooking the river, a twin bedroom and the family bathroom with bath, wash hand basin and toilet.

From the split-level landing is the door leading to the elevated garden to the rear with lawn, slated patio and summerhouse all enjoying a panoramic outlook over the Truro river.

Central Heating throughout, off road parking for two cars.

No trip to Cornwall is complete without a dip in the water, head to Loe Beach Water sports who offer lessons in sailing dinghies, hire kayaks, stand up paddle boards and powerboats, or head to the north coast surfing beaches. With numerous gardens to visit, including the Eden Project, Heligan, Trelissick- also accessible by the Falmouth ferry, Trebah and Glendurgan, all within easy reach.
