Set in a peaceful and tranquil setting, The Boat House is situated overlooking Mylor Creek, with far-reaching views across to the open fields on the far shore. The property is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to the sheltered waters of the Fal Estuary, wonderful beaches and mile upon mile of coastal walks, making it an ideal base to explore Cornwall.

The beautiful village of Mylor Bridge, just a short distance up the creek, has a superb selection of shops, a general store, newsagents/post office, butchers and The Lemon Arms. The Pandora Inn is just a further mile away at Restronguet.

At the entrance to the creek is Mylor Harbour offering pontoon berths for boat owners and swinging moorings with access to the sailing waters of the Carrick roads, together with a good water sports centre, sailing school, boat, bike and canoe hire.

Detailed Description

On entering The Boat House is a staircase leading up to the main living areas. At the top of the stairs is the open plan living room with a modern kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a large built-in fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, built-in electric oven, and gas hob.  French doors lead out onto the patio with large slate slabs with tables and chairs perfect for al fresco dining. The large lawn & wildflower meadow stretches away from the terrace. In the sitting area are comfortable sofas and wood-burning stove, wall mounted colour television and DVD player. By the dining table are french doors leading out onto the balcony with views of the creek.

There are two bedrooms on this floor: one king-size double with en-suite bathroom, bath with shower above, toilet, and wash hand basin. The second bedroom has twin beds and an en-suite shower room with a toilet and hand basin.

In the entrance hall is the utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and ground floor cloakroom. At the front, outside is ample parking for 2/3 cars and an electric car charging point, boat and trailers can also be stored in the parking area. Across from the property is a slipway perfect for launching small boats and canoes.

Water sports enthusiasts and sailors can fully embrace their hobbies here. Boat, canoe and SUP hire can all be enjoyed alongside sailing lessons and private yacht charter at the nearby Yacht Harbour in Mylor, ensuring all will keep water sports fans more than satisfied!

The beautiful village of Mylor also offers many great coastal walks for taking in the spectacular range of wildlife and offering close proximity to the beaches and attractions of Falmouth and the convenient selection of local amenities on the doorstep for a delightful stay in South Cornwall. A short walk along the creek leads to Mylor Harbour, where you can find a superb cafe and a great wine bar/bistro.
