Boat trips up the Fal River and fishing trips from Falmouth are within easy reach of Lion Cottage. The cathedral city of Truro (5 miles) has shops and restaurants while Falmouth (9 miles) is home to the National Maritime Museum, with the north coast surfing beaches, just 30 minutes away.

Detailed Description
Lion Cottage has been beautifully furnished with a fabulous waterfront deck allowing you to enjoy panoramic river views. The smart living room with bay windows observing down the peaceful creek, is a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings with Sky television. The kitchen is thoroughly up to date and equipped with a Rangemaster electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, Tassimo coffee pod machine, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. A separate dining area leads off from the kitchen with ample space for some relaxed dinners after a day of exploring.
The cottage has three super king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room. There is a separate family bathroom upstairs.
From the living room, head out through the French doors for a seamless transition from indoors to outside. The huge deck is perfect for sunset drinks and quiet conversation while watching passing boats and resident swans, with steps leading down to a slipway and barbecue area on the foreshore. Ideal for bird watchers for the peaceful location, to spot wading birds in the creek.
Enjoy a walk to the closest pub The Old Quay Inn located in Devoran just 15 minutes away on foot via the old tram road.
There is off-road parking for 2 cars adjacent to the terrace.
