Overview

Malpas is only 2 miles from Truro, with access to the beautiful waterside and country walks, located in the creekside village of Malpas on the banks of Truro river and has the renowned Heron Inn public house; Malpas village is approached via a tree-lined lane and is only a few minutes from the city centre’s facilities.

The area has an abundance of wildfowl and wading birds. These include Egrets, Curlews, Ospreys and of course, the native Grey Heron.

Detailed Description

The front door opens directly into the open plan kitchen sitting room with a dining table. The well-equipped kitchen has a built-in under-counter fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric hob and oven. There is a small utility room with a washing machine. The sitting area has a wonderfully comfortable sofa and two armchairs with a wall-hung television. The sliding patio doors open out onto the large decked area perfect for a late lazy breakfast, leading directly to the water’s edge. There is also a ground-floor cloakroom.

The stairs lead up to the two bedrooms, the main double with access onto the large balcony with views over the river, the smaller second double bedroom along with the walk-in shower room, with toilet and wash hand basin.

On the ground floor, there is underfloor heating, upstairs is modern energy-efficient electric heating.

This cottage is unsuitable for young children.

There is one designated parking space. Please note access down to the cottage for very low suspension cars is challenging but not impossible, this is for unloading and loading the car only.
