Overview

Situated in the idyllic creekside village of Mylor Bridge, Chenies is a comfortable & spacious 2 bedroom bungalow just a short stroll down to Mylor Creek. Ideal for family, friends and couples, this retreat makes a great base for an all-season break.

The village has a very well-stocked general store offering a range of delicious Cornish produce and freshly baked pasties. Also a fishmonger, a butcher and a newsagent, along with the Lemon Arms Public House. Just a short distance away is the acclaimed thatched waterside Pandora Inn.

Detailed Description

With all the accommodation on the ground floor, the spacious sitting room and the separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher.

Two bedrooms, one double & one twin, both overlooking the rear garden. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower above and a separate toilet.

The enclosed garden is attractive and mature, with a lawn and patio boasting a tranquil retreat in the sunshine, with tables and chairs for alfresco dining or a place to sit with a morning coffee or chilled drink.

Oil-fired central heating throughout the property, wifi and plenty of off-road parking, with a garage ideal for storage and also where you will find the house tumble dryer.

Close by is Mylor Yacht Harbour with sailing schools, boat hire and berthing facilities, also Café Mylor & Casteraways wine bar-restaurant. Falmouth is just four miles away, having a collection of fantastic independent shops, restaurants and art galleries. While Truro Cornwall’s capital, which is eight miles away, provides a comprehensive range of shopping facilities.

Nearby at Devoran, you can hire a bike and join the 11-mile Mineral Tramways Trail forming part of a popular coast-to-coast cycle route from east to west Cornwall. Onboard the King Harry Ferry the gateway to the breathtaking landscape of The Roseland Peninsula.
