Detailed Description
Beach Cottage offers truly luxurious accommodation for up to five people in three bedrooms in this magical waterside setting, with views of the creek from every room.
The front door opens into the fully fitted and well-equipped modern kitchen with a Belfast sink, an electric AGA with gas hob, two under-counter fridges, a dishwasher and microwave, and the dining table. An archway leads through to the cosy sitting room, with a wood-burning stove, flat-screen smart television, DVD player and iPod docking station.
Stairs from the living room lead up to 2 of the 3 bedrooms. One double bedroom with en suite (bath, separate shower, basin and toilet) and a single bedroom. A door from the dining area gives access to a ground-floor shower room with a basin and toilet and a separate staircase leading to the second double bedroom above (this double bedroom has a connecting door to the single bedroom). Adjoining is the boathouse in which is found a fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal storage space.
At the front of the cottage is a lawn perfect for those lazy days and evening barbecues watching the boats going by or eating out at the 13th century Pandora Inn just a short walk along the creekside footpath.
Access involves crossing a tidal shingle beach, over which unusually high tides can limit passage by car for short periods. Footpath access is available at all times.
Launching & recovering small boats are permitted on the understanding; trailers, dinghies, boats, SUPs, kayaks and vehicles are not left on the beach at any time.
Please note the waterside location makes this property unsuitable for children under five years old.
