Indidog Eatery

Located on Falmouth’s waterfront with brilliant views on to Falmouth Harbour, it is hard to resist not dining here, and you will not regret it if you do. Their Sunday roast is a special treat, with them offering slow-roasted topside of beef, confit of Primrose Herd pork belly or their vegan option comes stuffed portobello mushroom! The extras can range from beautifully roasted potatoes, honey roasted root veg, braised red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and seasonal greens to enhance your roast to the next level!


The Punchbowl & Ladle – Feock

Set with in the beautiful woodlands of Feock on the outskirts of Truro is The Punchbowl and Ladle, a beautiful spacious pub with lots of cosy corners serving delicious food. They offer a truly special roast for both meat eaters and vegans, using fresh and local ingredients and have partnered with St Austell Brewery to provide award winning ales, and also have extensive wine and spirit list.

Once you have finished your roast, what we like to do is put to nearby Trelissick for a walk through their woodlands with the dogs which The Punchbowl & Ladle welcome into their premises, and combined it makes for a wholesome Sunday.

The Pandora Inn – Restronguet

Set on the beautiful Restronguet Creek is the well known Pandora Inn; it has a pontoon so you can eat your tasty carvery while staring out onto the gorgeous scenery. In their carvery, they offer two types of meat, and a vegetarian option, crispy roasties, parsnips and Yorkshire puddings, braised red cabbage, a cheesy leek gratin, buttery carrots, cauliflower cheese, with options altering each week!

They are based at the beautiful Tremenheere Sculpture Garden, which holds a fantastic collection of sculptures with stunning views onto St Michael’s Mount, perfect for a post-roast walk. Tremenheere Kitchen provides an exquisite Sunday roast offering Cornish pork shoulder with apple sauce, apricot & sage stuffing, or roast rump of beef with horseradish cream, a Yorkshire pudding and last but no means least is the vegan option of almond, parsnip & lentil nut roast. Wilder Allotment Kitchen – Porthtown

Based up at Mount Pleasant Eco Park near Porthtowan, a wildly imaginative place, where their produce is often grown on-site and cooked for you, it is an entirely vegan menu but don’t be put off because it is genuinely scrumptious food that is full of flavour! The roast can include a sweet potato filled cashew and almond wellington, braised red cabbage, roasted potatoes, carrots and parsnips, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing balls and jerk or regular gravy; it is a fantastic meal.


Artist Residence – Penzance

The Artist Residence is a Georgian Inn brought to life with plenty of quirky character; it is a smokehouse and bar with a relaxed atmosphere creating homely food using local produce. A great place for meeting, eating, drinking and merry-making with loved ones, their Sunday lunch menu includes black treacle smoked brisket, 1/4 beer-can smoked chicken or a nut roast, and they are all served with a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, maple-roast root veg, seasonal greens, cauliflower cheese & gravy!
