Covid-19

We want to make you feel as safe as possible in your holiday cottage and make sure you make the most of your time here. Thank you to all to our customers, property owners and the local community for supporting us during this period. This has been an extremely challenging stretch of time for our business and we are doing everything we can to help and support you.

Below we have put together some guidance and information on how we prepared your holiday property to keep you safe, and some tips and tricks so that you can holiday safely while still be able to enjoy your time away and our amazing surroundings.

Our Property Precautions

Hand Sanitizer On Entry
On entry to your holiday property, you will find hand sanitizer, please use it on every entry to the holiday cottage, there is also soap within the properties please use this too. We recommend bringing your own hand sanitizer on holiday, for when you are out and about.

Extended Changeover Period
We have extended our changeover period to make sure our cleaning procedure can be followed thoroughly with the utmost of care by our excellent housekeepers. Our new changeover is a departure time of 10 am and arrival time of 4 pm.

Fixtures and Fittings
We are removing all unnecessary items from properties this includes scatter cushions, books, games, condiments, excessive cutlery, plates and other bits and bobs, this may seem extreme but this is to protect you, our housekeepers and future guests as best possible.

What to do before you travel?

Shopping in Advance
To make sure you can arrive and immediately relax, we recommend a supermarket shop done at home or on the way down, so you have what you need for the first few days.

Food On Arrival
We work closely with Baileys Farm Shop based in Penryn who can have your locally sourced products packed away before you arrive or there are many other the local stores to stock up for your week(s).

Exquisite Restaurant Food
All pubs, restaurants and cafes have had to change the way they approach their service, and so a number of them are offering a click & collect service, we have put together a list of restaurants in the Falmouth and Truro areas which are offering this service which you will find in the cottages, however, you may need to order in advance for click and collect so make sure you do your research so you can fully enjoy a special night in. Check out our Eating Out in Cornwall blog post.

Visit Local
Our cottages are located in some spectacular locations, so there is no need to travel far to enjoy your holiday. Check out our Out And About guide or the information packs for all the nearby walks, beaches and outdoor activities.

Bedding And Towels
We are taking further caution when washing and changing the linen at all of our cottages. Nevertheless, if you wish to bring your own bedding and household towels please let us know a few days in advance so we can make the appropriate arrangements with our housekeepers so that property can be left to your liking.
