Riversdale commands magnificent views across the river to Flushing and Falmouth Harbour, this ground floor apartment offers character accommodation within a former gentlemen’s residence. Just a short walk from the town centre, but offering a peaceful and comfortable holiday location, yet conveniently placed for exploring all parts of Cornwall.

Falmouth itself is a thriving town boasting the world’s third deepest natural harbour and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. There are several fine sandy beaches nearby, including Gyllyngvase and Maenporth, giving access to the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads and a myriad of creeks and rivers to explore by boat or on foot.

Detailed Description

The front door opens into the large hallway. At the front, offering magnificent views over the river to the village of Flushing and Falmouth Harbour, is the spacious, comfortable sitting room with television & DVD player, with an imposing ornate marble fire surround.

The large master bedroom has a super-king double bed, an ensuite shower room with a wash hand basin and a toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds; at the back of the apartment is the large art deco style bathroom, with a double-ended bath, separate corner shower, wash hand basin and toilet—a laundry cupboard with washing machine & tumble dryer. The third bedroom is located down the original granite stairs where you will find a second super-king bedroom and en-suite bathroom with wash basin and toilet. 

The large modern, fully fitted, equipped kitchen, dining table, built-in double oven, a gas hob, large fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher with a bay window affording superb views across and down the river.

The garden is to the front of the house with a lawn bordered with shrubs.

There is private off-road parking for one medium size car up behind with 30 steps leading down to the property, or you can park on the road with steps taking you up to the front of the property.

Gas central heating throughout.
