Meadowsweet is a spacious south-facing bungalow set in an extensive landscaped garden with lawns and well-established shrubs to the front and rear. The property provides lovely holiday accommodation with a home from home feel for family, friends and couples. The village of Perranwell Station is equidistant between the cathedral city of Truro and the harbour town of Falmouth and is a perfect location for exploring the area. The village offers a post office and well-stocked local shop for groceries, freshly baked bread and Cornish Pasties. There are two local pubs within a 10-minute walk: The Royal Oak in the centre of the village (renowned for its country welcome and good food) and The Norway Inn. For sailing, kayaking and water enthusiasts, the villages of Mylor Yacht Harbour, Mylor Bridge, Flushing, Devoran and Restronguet all provide access to the water and are all within 5 miles. Truro and Falmouth are easily reached by public transport via the bus service or the local Falmouth-Truro branch line.

Detailed Description

The front door leads into the sunny porch and hall area through the wooden glass door. The accommodation continues to the spacious, fully fitted kitchen/dining area with a built-in Miele electric oven and microwave, freestanding two ring electric hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer. N.b the Aga is turned off between May and September inclusive. The utility area is just off the kitchen with a washing machine, second sink, and glazed door leading out onto the patio and garden. ‘Adjoining the dining area is the sunroom with large glazed patio doors opening onto a sunny patio area.  To the front of the property is the south-facing living room with three sofas, smart TV, gas fire, and large windows overlooking the front garden and covered sun terrace with patio furniture – a lovely sheltered spot for breakfast.

Three double bedrooms sleeping six in total; the master bedroom has a 6ft zip link bed (can be 3ft singles on request) and an en-suite shower room with a wash hand basin and toilet. There are two further bedrooms, one with 4ft6’ double bed with en-suite shower, washbasin and toilet and the third bedroom has a 5ft bed and direct access to the main bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower washbasin and toilet, via jack and jill doors.

You will find the summer house with BBQ and garden games in the rear garden.

There is ample driveway parking at the front of the property for cars and boats. The property is heated throughout by gas central heating.
